Baker Soccer Training Program
Beginning September 2026
Baker will be launching a new soccer training program in September. The training program focuses on technical training and developing proper training habits.
Grades 5-8
WHERE: Baker Demonstration School
WHEN: Two mornings/week, for one hour before school starts
SIGN UP HERE: Soccer Training Program Interest Form
Cost: For the trial there will not be a fee associated with the program/training. There will likely be a small fee so each player has a proper ball and potentially a training kit.
Coach: We are currently looking for a coach, but they will be hired by and supervised by Chris Cheney, as he has very specific ideas about what the training and development will look like, and he wants to ensure there is value alignment.

Our students have a lot of different interests, and Baker strives to be an environment where all those interests can be fully explored.

After School Activities
Students and their families are welcome to stick around after school, when Baker feels like a school and community center in one. Between our partnerships with community organizations, teachers and parents volunteering to coach or lead special classes, we have a lot of fun here!
Sports
Baker sponsors sports teams for students in 4th through 8th grade including:
- Interscholastic basketball
- Flag football
- Soccer
- Track and field
Teams practice after school and compete against peers from other local schools.
