Baker Bots & Coaches win 3rd Place; move on to sectionals
The Baker Bots Compete in the FIRST Lego League Illinois Qualifier: Advance to Sectionals! Coaches Awarded Mentor Award
The 2024-25 Baker Bots competed in the FIRST Lego League Illinois qualifier this past weekend and will be advancing to the sectionals. Congratulations to our students for finishing 3rd in the robot mission competition amongst a field of 19 chicagoland area teams! The team competed with their robot design in a physical challenge. Additionally, they gave a fantastic presentation about their design which includes ideas to reduce environmental impacts of deep sea mining.
Baker Tech Teacher, Becky Crawford and Baker Parent, Dmitry Shub, were presented with the Coach Mentor Award.
